Chevrolet Express 1500, Chevrolet Express 2500, Chevrolet Express 3500Seat Belt Warning Light May Not Illuminate as Expected
Certain vehicles may have been produced with a driver's side seat belt buckle electrical connector that does not fit snugly with the connector terminals, causing the electrical connection to be intermittent. This loose electrical connection may cause the driver not to receive a visual or audible warning that the driver's seat belt is not fastened. If the seat belt is not properly fastened in the event of a crash, there is an increased risk of personal injury. Dealers will replace the seat belt buckle electrical connector terminals to correct this concern. The General Motors recall number is 11322.

Chevrolet Owners' Stories
i absolutley love my trailblazer!~ by far the best truck i have ever owned!!!! one problem is the temp control only works when it wants ????????????//
I have a 2003 2500HD 6.0 liter with just over 66K miles. The Low Oil Pressure indicator comes on the display and the "dinging" starts. I have replaced the oil sensor with an OEM one and this still occurs after driving more than five miles. When driving the oil pressure guage shows approx 15 when driving betwee 50 - 55 mph and the RPMs are between 2000-2500. If I acclerate rapidly to 65-70 and then let off the acclerator the "dinging" will stop when speed get to between 50-55 but only stops for a minute or two and then starts again. There are no oil leaks; oil is at the proper level and things check out just fine. Thoughts?
I purchased a 2006 Cobalt brand new. The car has been reliable until this year (2012). Started having problems with power steering light coming on and a "bucking" sensation. Took it to Chevy dealer and of course they couldn't get the problem to duplicate. Though they did pull off stored codes in the car indicating that the BCM (Body Control Module) was not communicating. They did NOTHING about it and sent the car back to me. 10 days later driving this car, "jerking" sensation starts again, power steering light comes on, car's speedometer went from 30 MPH down to 0, and back and forth when this jerking was happening. Car towed in yet again and mechanics could not duplicate problem, so the car came back to me. Got GM involved with this issue and what a waste of time that has been. They have not helped me in any way, not even to soak up the cost of maintenance that I find I have to put into this piece of junk. I have been put through alot of aggravation and now the car is back at the dealership. They say that again my car would not act up on them. They have indicated that again, they think it's the body control module and they will replace it - $685. I say, give me an old fashioned car without all of these computer chips and modules because when they go up, the "poor" consumer out here can't afford to get them fixed. My car has been in the shop 3 times now for the same problems. Why wouldn't GM put recall notices out about these problems and why would the dealership keep sending my car back and not fix the supposed problem in the first place?!!
I have a 2006 Silverado 2500HD' 50845 miles. Purchased new. Daylight operating lights, tail lights, and blinker lights have to be replaced often. Lamps are not blown. Base of lamp crystallized and no longer make contact in socket. Front end of this truck, bumps, bumps, bumps when turning left or right. $63.00 dealer will put grease in column and for 16000 miles, it doesn't bump. When stopping, brakes depress below the hieght of gas-pedal allowing your foot to depress both. Truck tries to stop and pull forward. It doesn't take much gas for the 6.0 engine to outpush the brake pedal. Air conditioner switch and wiring harness failed and they say they will reimburse my cost if I provide certain information. I did, they lost check copies of payment. Now Chevy wants copy of my monthly bank statement. Chevy rep called service parts and service center and talked with repairman. I'm glad I wasn't broke and needed it to pay a bill.
Anybody with any ideas. I have a 2003 silverado 1500 with all the same problems except the brakes and air conditioner. I replaced all the wiring harnessed and they installed a new steering column. 16000 miles and another 62 dollar charge, it still bumps bumps bumps everytime you turn left or right.
I have had my 2011 malibu in the shop 6 times for problems related to the shaking that i feel in the steering wheel when driving. On the 3rd visit they told me about a letter of concern issued by chevy. Not a recall, because it was still under warranty, problem continued and still is present off and on. My drain tubes in sunroof are clogged and reported problem months ago, to no avail. Nothing could be found by dealer. Got in fender bender when steering went shaky then nonresponsive. Took my car to new dealer who confirmed my problems. Electrical now having severe problems!! I am calling Chevrolet today to see what can be done. As I see it this car sems to be lemmon, but then again after looking at these blogs seem to feel could be whole line of malibu. Thought I was buying CAR OF THE YEAR!!
